Home » Cross Country News2008 Cross-Country Season about to begin.July 26, 2008 By Daniel Otten of Celina High SchoolThe 2008 edition of Celina Cross-Country gets underway Monday, August 4 as the harriers begin practice. The 2008 CC schedule is highlighted by three home meets. The initial competition of the season is Tuesday, August 19, as the Runnin' Dogs host the annual Mercer County Meet. Saturday, August 23 CHS is host to the 27th Annual Celina Rotary Invitational. The home season wraps up on Saturday, October 11 as the Dogs host the Western Buckeye League Championship Meet. All Celina High School athletes wishing to participate in 2008 must have an athletic physical on file in the High School Athletic Office, or in Coach Otten's hands by the 4th. Athletes should be ready to run at 8:00 AM on the 4th and meet at the CAPT Athletic Building. |
